- The primary responsibility of the busser is to assist wait staff in serving guests by setting tables with clean linens and silverware and removing soiled dishes, glassware, and silverware from the tables.
- Secondary responsibilities include proper maintenance and cleaning of side stations, floors, furniture, and restrooms and perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintains a GUEST focus while performing duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including all tables and chairs.
- Promptly remove all used dishes, silverware, glasses and linen from tables promptly as courses are complete and guests finish their meal.
- Take used tableware to dishwashing area, sort and stack silverware, dishes and glassware in designated areas.
- Wipe down tables and chairs between seating, check floor and clean as required.
- Reset tables with clean linen and silverware • Assist servers as necessary with delivering food and refilling beverages.
- Communicate guest needs to servers as appropriate.
- Communicate with server and host to ensure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
- Be 16 years of age.
- Must be able to work unsupervised.
- Must be available to work between the hours of 10:00 am to 12:00am.
- Must be able to stand and work for up to 4 hours at a time.
- Must be able to perform repetitive motion work without the assistance of restraints, braces or other incumbrances that limit range of motion or physical activity.
- Must be able to lift, move and shelve products and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in temperatures exceeding 85* for extended periods of time.
- Be willing to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
